Prayers for Healing
Merciful Lord God, stretch out Your hand and grant the sick the
grace of healing, fit them for health, free them from the illness
that now besets them. May they be healed in the Name of Your
only Son; may His holy Name be their remedy, may it make
them sound and whole; for through Him glory and power are
Yours, in the Holy Spirit, and Yours they will be age after age.

Come with Your presence that brings light.
Come with Your light that reveals power.
Come with Your power that delivers healing.
Come with Your healing that redeems life.
Come with Your life that restores peace. Amen.
 
Lord,
Hear the cries of Your suffering child;
Look upon him/her with Your eyes of compassion;
Speak to him/her Your words of comfort;
Touch him/her with Your healing hands;
Breathe on him/her Your life-giving Spirit;
Wrap him/her in Your arms of love. Amen.
 
Gracious Lord,
Where there is fear, grant us Your love;
Where there is anxiousness, grant us Your peace;
Where there is weakness, grant us Your strength;
Where there is pain, grant us Your comfort;
Where there is illness, grant us Your healing.
Where we are, grant us Your presence which
brings all these things. Amen.

Prayer to Mend A Broken Bone/s
inspired by Ezekiel 37 and Psalm 139:13
Lord God, Ezekiel looked out over a valley filled with bones. You spoke and
those bones were made to come together once again. You breathed upon the
dry bones and they were restored. Speak Lord, speak Your word of healing.
Breathe that breath that brings restoration. You knit us together in our mother’s
womb. Knit together that which has been shattered, fractured, broken. Restore
it/them with the wholeness and integrity which it/ they once had. Infuse in
it/them with the strength with which it/they were intended. Grant ease and
comfort of movement. O bones, hear the word of the Lord. Amen.

Come as a cool stream on a hot day carrying that refreshment
    from above and wash over this faithful servant
Come as a mighty river
And let that heavenly life and power flow through her/him bringing to every
    part of their being renewal of strength and health.
