News: Pastor Conrad plans to leave Bovina!

The Bovina Presbyterian Church is a small church located in a small hamlet. These two characteristics
substantially influence our quality of life and our religious philosophy. The Bovina Church is recognized
for ministering to others through caring, sharing, and mission giving. Following Jesus' teaching of doing
good for others helps our members grow spiritually withfaith, virtue, knowledge, temperance, patience,
godliness, brotherly kindness, and charity (II Peter 1:4-8)

Every Sunday morning a faithful fellowship gathers together to acknowledge and praise the Lord, to listen
and learn, share and pray.

The music that we sing is a blend of traditional, gospel and contemporary hymns. The choir adds their
voice to our services most of the year with some well-blended harmonies. There is additional special
music scattered throughout the year ranging from classical to folk elections.

Our children also bring song and drama to our worship over the course of the year, most notably the
Christmas pageant. The prayers and readings are drawn heavily from Scripture. Each Sunday the
children take a message from the “mystery bag” before being dismissed from Sunday School.
Each week a different child takes the bag home and brings back an item that the pastor reveals to the
congregation. The pastor then develops a poignant message from that item.

We celebrate communion just about every month on the first Sunday. All are welcome to join us at our
Lord’s Table!
